I would like to thank you all for your hard training and efforts in support of the Shingen dojo this year. Special thanks to Sempai Des for creating this fantastic website and to Sempais Paul, Jason and 1st Kyu Greg for instructing classes over the year. We have now welcomed new members from the Shin Wa Kai Club and look forward to continuing to build the Shingen Club in 2012.

Congratulations to all students who graded on Saturday. From all reports, everyone did exceptionally well.
Following such a tough and exhaustive grading, some students were put through a very intensive hydro class and bonding session, as demonstrated here;

To celebrate your efforts and achievements throughout the year, students and their families are invited to a POOL and PIZZA party at Shihan's house this Saturday after the grading starting at 6 pm. Please bring bathers and towels if you want to swim and $5 per head or $10 per family for the Pizzas. We will order the pizzas around 7pm so don't be late or you will miss out on the order. One of our students is returning to NZ later this week and will visit my home dojo in Christchurch where I started my karate training in 1972. It would be great if we could all get to training tomorrow at the 6.30 class so that we could do a group photo for Ryan to take to my original instructor Hanshi Renzie Hanham who still trains and teaches at the dojo. If you are available please make the effort to be involved in creating this record of Shingen in Perth.
